Project Overview

Threads is Instagram's newest app designed for sharing text updates and joining public conversations. As with any new app, users have numerous questions about how to sign up, where to find things, and how it integrates with other products.

My Role

  • Planned and created mobile UI content for each project milestone.

  • Wrote clear, user-friendly guides that led users through the app and its features.

  • Coordinated with stakeholders to establish timelines for content reviews and testing before launch.

Milestone 1 in-app teaser. Upon Threads' initial launch, the fediverse integration wasn't available yet.

Threads integrates with the fediverse, a concept I didn't know existed until this project. My biggest challenge: learning enough to write effective content in a few weeks.

Milestone 2 in-app user education. Once the fediverse integration launched, we needed an explaination on what it meant.

Project Overview

Creator Support is an invitation-only website providing direct help to Facebook and Instagram creators. Building a new website came with opportunities for unique content and design.

My Role

  • Wrote UI for desktop and mobile, including microcopy for CTA messages, buttons, and menu labels.

  • Developed intuitive information architecture for the site and reiterated to improve the user experience.

  • Ensured all content was clear, actionable, and aligned with user support goals.

Site Redesign @ Measure

Project Overview

Measure is a nonprofit organization that supports marginalized communities through research and data. There was an opportunity to streamline messaging and improve how their work was presented on their website.

 


My Role

  • Contributed to wireframes and mockups to revamp the site’s content, design system, and information architecture.

  • Streamlined the website's UI and style guide.

  • Conducted content audits and implemented optimization strategies (including A/B testing and performance analysis).
